What can I write about?
Literally anything. This is your platform. We want to inform our community as much as possible in all aspects about everything that is going on—on a micro level in the school, or on a macro level with global current events. Here are some ideas, more can be found in the @ page!
Campus reports: event coverage, updates from campus orgs Community events: check out the page. There is ALWAYS something going on in Atlanta, I tried to put things that everyone will enjoy on there! Profile pieces: interviews with students, faculty, staff, community members Op-eds: personal take on an issue (campus, national, cultural) Reviews: this includes books, movies, music, shows (theater and TV), art, restaurants, etc. Feature articles: deeper dives or narrative storytelling Special projects: multi-media projects, investigative or data-driven pieces Still unsure? Start with asking yourself “What’s something I’ve talked/read about recently that others might relate to or learn from?” Still stuck? Take a look at the page or the page!
