The People & Business Partner is responsible for aligning business objectives with key stakeholders and employees in designated business functions. Provides People expertise and counsel to management covering a full range of HR disciplines including organizational effectiveness, employee relations, performance management, career development, and workforce planning.
You will play an important role in
Talent Acquisition
On-going define and redefine organization structure and design as we scale.
Work closely with business partners to define the job scope for each required position.
Sourcing and recruiting candidates through various channels such as job portals, professional networks and employee referrals.
Post job ads at JobStreet.com or Hiredly and/or any similar job platform
Establish partnerships with universities to conduct hiring campaigns
Conduct resume screenings, interviews, and job discussions of interview results
Managing the job offer process which includes salary negotiations.
Training & Development
Co-develop training modules and people dashboard with business partners for each department.
Weekly check-in with new employees to support adaptability, improve work relationships, build morale, and increase productivity.
Setting up and conducting new hire orientation sessions, including introduction to company policies & system, work tools and culture.
Providing support and guidance to new hires during their first few months to help them adapt to their new role and the organization.
Operation & Management
Workforce planning to optimize staffing for business operations (e.g., academic, growth, tech and data department) at scale.
Facilitate change management for each department to ensure smooth operation.
Initiate, plan, conduct, and support employee engagement activities for team bonding.
Building relationships with employees to understand their needs, concerns and perceptions about the working environment and job satisfaction.
Human resource & Labor law compliance
Maintain documentation related to onboarding, off-boarding, benefits administration, and policies administration activities.
Maintain employee data across HR systems, capturing all data changes in an employee lifecycle ensuring data accuracy, comprehensiveness, and integrity.
Assisting in processing monthly payroll to ensure salary accuracy.
Manage employee exit processes, including conducting exit interviews, and individual communications (voluntary separation) to evoke positive pride of association with the organization upon employee exit.
To be successful in this role, you will need to have
You have an academic background in Organizational Psychology/ Business Administrative or equivalent or related field.
You have comprehensive and proven HR business partner experience in a fast-paced, collaborative working environment.
Strong interpersonal skills and ability to communicate and team effectively at all levels.
Fluent in speaking and writing using English and Bahasa.
You love teaching and are eager to shape the skills and minds of the next generation.
You want to contribute positive impacts to society using your skills and knowledge.
You can work well with multiple and challenging projects at one time.
