Current condition: Excellent. There are some cosmetic blemishes to the custom Hennessy wrap. It is peeling along the doors. You will likely want to either change or redo the color/graphics. There are also a few Rocky Mountain pinstripes from a foray into the brush. It climbs like a beast and the front camera comes in handy when you are just staring at the sky going up a steep hill. This is a performance vehicle. If you are following a slow car up the canyon and don’t keep the RPMs over 2500, it will choke. Drop it into M(manual shifting) and keep the engine purring.

Well maintained at Ford in American Fork and Karl Malone Ford in Park City, included recently replacing the Brembo front brakes $3500. Spark plugs a year ago.

Here is an explanation of the machine upgrades above and beyond the offroad, wheels, graphics, lights and other upgrades the Velociraptor has:
High-flow air induction system: This is basic plumbing. Bigger oxygen intake hardware is needed to suck in more air. Open your hood and you’ll easily spot massive intake pipes + bigger air filter boxes
Turbo wastegate modification:Turbo’s only work when they’re generating boost via pressure in the turbines. When you are making boost (i.e. on the gas) and you back off the throttle, the system needs to release that boost so the vehicle doesn’t continue blasting forward unintentionally. Turbo’s release their boost through wastegates. Sounds like a friggin monster. When you hear “whooshing” sounds when you kill the throttle at high RPM’s, the sound is is two wastegates releasing pressure.
Air to air front mounted intercooler upgrade: Engines like cool air. Cool air = more power. Turbocharged cars usually employ an intercooler (looks just like radiator) to cool down the air before it gets compressed in the turbocharger and pumped into the combustion chamber along with a shitload of gas. To achieve big H.P. they installed a bigger intercooler.
Intercooler piping upgrade:Similar to the High-flow air induction system in point # 1, they upgraded the plumbing for the intercooler.
Stainless steel exhaust system (catback): If you’re cramming in more air & fuel with the intercooler, intake and turbo mods, you gotta get that spent exhaust out of the system equally as efficiently. From the catalytic converters to the tailpipe (i.e. “cat-back”), they’ve installed bigger, more efficient exhaust pipes to let that baby breathe. It sounds awesome!
Engine management computer software upgrade:This is where the magic happens… the real HP gains are done with software. People who don’t know what they’re talking about usually say “yeah, it’s got a chip in it”. That’s 90’s talk. Everything today is done via the Electronic Control Unit (ECU), not a replacement chip. Smart engine dudes apply new software maps to fool the computer & fuel injection system into pumping in more gas and air. If you didn’t give a crap about the longevity of the engine, you could talk one of these guys into an ECU mapping, that when combined with 93 octane fuel, could easily pump out 800+ hp. But it would be a ticking time bomb until a piston explodes. Hennessy combines the perfect combination for this beast!
