The Need
Despite the explosion of AI-related resources, many of us are still left to navigate the disruption and opportunity of AI largely on our own. This program is designed to change that - by creating a practice infrastructure for ongoing, peer-to-peer support. It begins with a simple but powerful step: making time to pause, connect, and practice together.
Program Goals
The AI Stewardship Practice Program is designed to help you launch or strengthen your with a at the . Personal Practice – Deepen your exploration of the evolving AI landscape and clarify what it means for you, your role, and your next decisions. Community of Practice – Experience peer learning during the six-week journey and consider how your own practice could seed wider practice within your groups, organizations, and networks. Broader Contribution – Join hundreds of leaders who’ve helped shape the Tech Stewardship movement over the past decade and contribute to its ongoing evolution and focus on AI. Who’s This Program For?
The program is for any leader who is actively engaging with AI and who wants to shape its evolution for the better.
This includes adopters, advocates, researchers, entrepreneurs, creators, educators, and policymakers.
The current rounds of the program will be focused on professionals working in the nonprofit sector; however, there are limited spots available in the current rounds for people working in other sectors, and future rounds will have different compositions. So if you’re interested - we encourage you to apply.
Who’s Behind This Program?
The concept of stewardship practice and its application to tech broadly and AI specifically has emerged and been developed by hundreds of leaders over the past decade.

The heart of the program is:
6 participants per cohort, plus a facilitator 6 core practice questions explored over 6×1 hr group sessions (Zoom) and ~1 hr of independent practice per week This Stewardship Practice Hub
The is a set of interconnected sites that are built on the Coda platform. The public site provides curated content about the process of stewardship practice The public site provides curated stewardship content about the specific topic of Artificial Intelligence. Before your program begins, you will be given access to a private AI Stewardship Practice Program site that will act as a guide for your specific program and a place for you to interact with other participants - both in your own cohort and in the other cohorts that are happening in parallel during your session. We picked Coda because it is a Wiki based platform, which fits with our intention of this Hub being a resource to support stewardship practice that evolveds based on feedback, input, and co-ownership by the community of practice - i.e. you!
A Small, Connected Pilot
2026 Round 2 will be the fourth iteration of the AISPP.
Our approach of having a limited number of cohorts with just six participants in each is designed to allow for meaningful connection and individualized support.
