Practitioner definition and title

The following is a definition of an MN Practitioner:
An MN Practitioner is a professional facilitator who works with clients to help them identify the strengths of their Multiple Intelligences and Multiple Natures, and assists them in using that knowledge for improving self-awareness and for making more informed decisions about their personal and professional practice.
Upon completing the MN Practitioner's course, you will be able to use the title of MN Practitioner or Certified MN Practitioner. The MN team considered many titles such as coach, adviser, guide, counselor, and professional. However, we did not find these terms adequate for a number of reasons:
Coaching is a specific type of practice and not applicable to other contexts
the practice of “Advising” has complications as it is generally agreed that people working with clients should not advise, but rather facilitate
“guide” implied too much leading
counseling, like coaching, is its own specialized area
“professional” seemed to generic

The word practitioner has a number of advantages. The term

has a neutrality about it with respect to its application in various fields
signifies an active participation without a dominating role in the relationship with a client
connotes an element of professionalism

Representing yourself as an MN Practitioner

You may represent yourself as an MN Practitioner in the following manner:

Michelle DuPont
Certified MN Practitioner
Or
Michelle DuPont
MN Certified

Permitted scope of practice of an MN Practitioner

As an MN Practitioner, you have the right to do the following:

Work with clients in a one-to-one or small group manner (up to 5 people)
Conduct the MN Test with clients age 13-adult
Validate a client’s scores
Explain the significance of MIs and MNs to a client
Help a client identify where MIs and MNs are over or under utilized
Identify ways in which a client can better utilize MIs and MN, including identifying suitable careers, hobbies, and jobbies.
Conduct short conferences (up to 3 hours) about what MN is
Create your own presentations and tools related to MN for use with your clients.

Restricted activities

Your role as an MN Practitioner does not permit you to do the following:

Conduct workshops on MN
Train others to use MN as a tool in the manner of a practitioner (e.g., for coaching, counseling, advisory, therapy, etc.)
Create your own versions of MN Tests or methods of identifying clients' Natures other than the ones prescribed by Multiple Natures International.

To carry out points 1 and 2, you would require additional training and certification from Multiple Natures International.

The domains in which you may practice

As a Certified MN Practitioner, you are free to work with individuals from any domain—school students, college students, working professionals, unemployed persons, retired persons. Apart from your use of MN, you may provide any services that you are legally permitted to undertake, provided you clearly disclose to clients the role MN plays in your services. You may not present your practice with MN as extending beyond the permitted scope of practice.

Your profile on the MN Site

Once you have completed your Level 1 Certification, you can create a personal profile that will appear on the Multiple Natures website.

Your profile contains:

Your contact details
Your credentials
Your preferred method of interaction
Your area of specialization in guidance
A personal comment

Your profile will remain visible/active on the MN website as long as you continue to fulfill your responsibilities and commitments as an MN Practitioner.

Revocation of Practitioner Status

Revocation of MN Certified Status

In the case that individual does not meet his commitments as an MN Practitioner, MNI reserves the right to revoke his status as a certified MN Practitioner. Depending upon the circumstances, MNI will first make contact with the individual to express the issue, and in most cases, will provide an opportunity for the Practitioner to rectify the problem within a reasonable period of time. If during this time the Practitioner fails to adequately rectify the problem, his MN Certified Status will be revoked and his MN Practitioner profile will be removed from the MN website. The Practitioner will lose access to his dashboard. Any individuals who are subscribed to the Practitioner will be notified that the Practitioner is no longer serving as an MN Practitioner, and they will be invited to be assigned to other active MN Practitioners. MNI shall not be obliged to refund course fees or lost consulting fees as a result of their revocation of their certified status.
