What does it refer to?
the Hebrew Ge-Hinnom refers to a physical location also called the valley of Tophet). People used to perform child sacrifices to the pagan god Molech.
It refers to the ‘Lake of fire.’ (interchangeable) (everlasting)
What happened at this location?
2 Kings 23:10; And he defiled Topheth, which is in the valley of the children of Hinnom, that no man might make his son or his daughter to pass through the fire to Molech.
2 Chron. 28:3; 33:6;
2 Chron 28:3 Moreover he burnt incense in the valley of the son of Hinnom, and burnt his children in the fire, after the abominations of the heathen whom the LORD had cast out before the children of Israel.
Jer. 7:31-32; 19:5;

Who will go there?
Sinners, those who are unrepentant and have not trusted Christ, death, hell (hades), the devil, and his angels, the beast, the false prophet, and those who received the mark of the beast (Rev 14:9-11).

It will continue to torment for eternity.
