4PeteSake provides relief to distressed River Valley residents who face extraordinary financial needs and who are unable, through no fault of their own, to provide for themselves.4PeteSake’s primary goal is to relieve financial stress so recipients can focus on healing. 4PeteSake funds fill in where insurance leaves off, such as providing income replacement to keep the lights and heat on and to take care of other basic household expenses. The committee may also become an advocate for recipients, helping them sort through the maze of services and fees, and making the dollars provided stretch even further.

Food Pantry of Plain
Friends of the Lower Wisconsin Riverway AKA “FLOW”
FLOW organizes winter and summer recreational activities, clean-up events, river safety and paddling excursions to increase awareness of the value and need to preserve and protect the Lower Wisconsin River. The group also does environmental advocacy to prevent the degradation of the water quality and scenic value of the Lower Wisconsin State Riverway that was created by the State of Wisconsin in 1989.
Friends of the Spring Green Community Library
The “Friends” are a library support group. Activities range from fundraising to providing educational and informational programs. We help focus community awareness on the library, sponsor literary and intellectual entertainment and assist the library in the purchase of items outside their normal budget.

Greenway Manor Volunteers
This informal group helps residents of Greenway Manor. It organizes events that connect residents with the community such as the annual Ice Cream Social. Individual volunteers help residents with errands, reading and other activities.

This is the Spring Green chapter of the national Knights of Columbus. It is a charitable organization that organizes fundraisers to help address needs of the community. .
Kops for Kids
This group provides Christmas gifts to kids who normally wouldn’t have a nice Christmas. Prior to the Christmas season the group solicits businesses for support, the members shop at local businesses for the gifts and distribute them. Other groups help wrap the gifts. The group maintains confidentiality and caring.

Mew Haven is a nonprofit organization, with a four-person board, dedicated to the rescue, foster care and re-homing of homeless, injured or neglected cats. Funded entirely by donations to subsidize low cost spay/neutering, vet services and provision of cat food at the Spring Green Food Pantry.

River Valley ARTS
RV ARTS is an organization of people who are interested in arts and want to bring the arts more into the view of the general public. Members organize fundraisers and award Creative Community Grants to groups and individuals. The group also awards smaller Eureka Grants. RV ARTS advocates for community and public support of the arts.
River Valley Broadband Coalition
The River Valley Broadband Coalition works to not only get high-speed internet to our communities, but also to make sure our community can afford it and know how to use it effectively.
River Valley Community Chorus
A chorus made up of River Valley Community Members. The chorus presents at least two concerts each year, one in the Spring and one in the Fall.
River Valley Community Gardens, Inc.
Our purpose is to operate a non-commercial community garden devoted to teaching gardeners and community members how to grow healthy food by introducing organic gardening techniques, relieving food scarcity by providing plots to families or individuals who do not have access to them for non-commercial use, and to beautifying the green space it inhabits. It further cultivates and distributes produce to area food pantries.
River Valley Housing Coalition
The River Valley Housing Coalition is working together to bring more housing to the River Valley School District's geographic area.
River Valley Neighbor Helping Neighbor
We help people in the area that need help with small jobs around the house. This can include snowshoveling, raking leaves, small repair jobs, running errands to stores, babysitting or any other small job that needs to be done.
River Valley Players
RVP is the community theater association for the River Valley area. RVP’s primary goal is to provide high quality productions of both the classic and contemporary styles. RVP strives to produce minimum of three shows a year, along with sponsoring other theater-related events. Actors, directors, production staff are all volunteer.
River Valley School District
There are many opportunities to support youth in the community through the River Valley School District, including Music Boosters, Athletic Booster, RSVC Endowment Fund, and more.
River Valley Soccer Association
This group sponsors and organizes soccer training and games for children 6-14. It serves as a feeder activity to the River Valley High School Soccer program.
River Valley Stitchers
Informal “get togethers” of people interested mainly in quilting, but also other types of stitchery, to teach each other, work on projects serving various needs of people, and to socialize.

Rural Musicians Forum
A community organization with a five-member board that brings high quality professionals and the best of local rural talent together to perform at Unity Chapel and in the River Valley area. Its mission is to provide all members of the community an opportunity to enjoy live music and to nurture a love of music in community youth, and through music to educate all members of the community to the cultural heritage of the River Valley. Activities include summer Unity Chapel Monday evening concerts, Wyoming Valley Church Hymn Sings, a music award to a graduating high school senior, concerts at the Gard Theater and educational and outreach workshops and concerts.

Spring Green Arts & Crafts Fair
The Spring Green Arts & Crafts Fair Committee organizes a juried art fair of over 200 artists and craftspeople held the last weekend of June each year. The Fair typically draws over 100,000 people to the Village. The Committee is a volunteer nonprofit organization operating under the umbrella of the Spring Green Area Chamber of Commerce.

Our church is a faith-based organization whose foundation is in the Bible and is a Christ-centered gathering. Our vision is “Come Grow Live” (Come to Christ, Grow in Christ, and Live like Christ.)
Spring Green Community Food Pantry
This group supports and operates a food pantry for families and individuals who do not have enough food. Members raise funds, seek and receive donations of food, sort and stock shelves and distribute emergency food supplies.

This local chapter of Boy Scouts of America provides an opportunity for building character, skills and responsibilities of citizenship and develops personal fitness. The local Pack engages in teamwork and plans activities around environmental, civic and charitable purposes. Activities include parents and other family members.

The “Dolphins” are a group of parents who organize, raise funds and operate a local swimming program as part of the Tri-County Swim Conference at the Spring Green Village Pool. T
Spring Green Emergency Medical Service (EMS)
This professional volunteer group is the First Responder when there is an accident or medical emergency. We are only “A Heartbeat Away.” We are dedicated to the safety and health of our residents and visitors. Our members take extensive training. Members are rewarded with the satisfaction of providing a vital community services by helping to save lives. They can participate on committees on CPR instructions, public education, recruitment and the Annual Open House and Dance.
Spring Green Fire Protection District
This volunteer fire department provides fire suppression, vehicle and farm extrication, search and rescue, river rescue on the Wisconsin River, wildland firefighting, and education in fire safety throughout the River Valley School District.
Spring Green Lions Club
The Spring Green Lions Club is the local affiliate of Lions Clubs International. The club welcomes both men and women to join in raising funds to serve local and international needs as well as having fun doing so. The Club follows the organization’s motto “We Serve.”
Spring Green Literary Festival
This organization plans, organizes and presents several literary events each year. We celebrate the love of literature and the art of writing. We create events around that objective that are free and open to the public.

The parish has a membership of about 500 families. Our parish supports a Catholic Grade School (Gr. 3K-4) as well as a Religious Education Program (Gr.1-11).
