Automatic Naming

Account Name Settings were set to: {!{!FirstName}} {!LastName} Household
With this account name setting, it will be easy to tell the difference between the two accounts with the same last name
Opportunity Name Settings were set to: {!Account.Name} {!Amount} {!RecordType.Name} {!CloseDate}
This opportunity name setting will be helpful in tracking donations. It will be easy to see the name of the household account or organization account, donation amount, type of donation and donation date in the opportunity name.

Address Settings

Organization addresses were enabled. This will allow users to store multiple addresses for an organization pertaining to different locations.

Relationship Settings

Automatic Affiliation Management was enabled. This feature links contacts to organizations they are connected with, like employers, schools, or other groups.
Gender Field: Was set to “None’. This sets all relationships to remain neutral of gender.
Reciprocal Method is set to List Settings. This allow users to define reciprocal relationship types from a predefined list.
Custom Relationships: Four new reciprocal relationships were created. These will clearly define relationships between the contact and service provider. These are:
Vision Provider
Vision Patient
Hearing Provider
Hearing Patient

Automatic Relationships: Two new automatic relationships were set on the custom lookup fields created on the contact. This will automatically trigger creation of the relationships for:
Hearing Provider: This automatic relationship is triggered when a the Hearing Provider lookup field is filled in on the contact. Reciprocal relationships are created on contact (Hearing Patient) and the Hearing Provider ( the service provider).
Vision Provider: This automatic relationship is triggered when a Vision Provider lookup field is filled in on the contact. Reciprocal relationships are created on contact (Vision Patient) and the Vision Provider ( the service provider).

Custom Field and Mappings

The following fields and mappings were created for the purposes of data migration from Raiser’s Edge Software to Salesforce NPSP Implementation for FSHA:
Advance Field Mappings created for Data Import in the following groups:
Contact 1 Group: Mapped the Contact1RaisersEdgeId__c field of NPSP Data Import object to the RaisersEdgeId on the Contact object
Contact 2 Group: Mapped the Contact2RaisersEdgeId__c field of NPSP Data Import object to the RaisersEdgeId on the Contact object
