Boundary and Level Survey

The survey will locate all relevant visible site boundary features within the indicated site area as detailed in the RICS publication "Specification for Surveys of Land, Buildings and Utility Services at scales 1:500 and larger”.
Survey features picked up as standard include: • Site boundaries (Fences/Walls/Hedges etc.) indicating type, height and width • Building footprints • Tree Positions (Greater than 150mm Trunk Diameter)
Levels to be taken at suitable centres along the boundary with all data referenced to the OS grid and datum via GPS methods with permanent survey control stations established for future reference.
Overlay of Land Registry documents with boundary survey and OS Site Location Plan will be provided if required for Boundary dispute.
Deliverables supplied include; 3D DWG, 2D DWG and PDF plans. Paper hard copies can be ordered upon request.

Please note: We advise that overgrown areas or obstructions will need to be cleared prior to survey commencing. Any overgrown areas or obstructions will be marked on the plans as such and may reduce the quality of the survey.
Boundary Surveys are a pay in advance service - if you would like to proceed with our proposal please follow these steps:

Make the payment and let our project team know you have done so.
Arrange a date to access your site that works for both you and our team - Typical lead-in for us is 1-2 weeks.

We can provide additional analysis of the site and a written report of our findings. We can also respond to other surveyors findings and our interpretation of the data they provide.
This service costs £65 + VAT per hour and must be paid in advance in multiples of 5 hourly blocks.
