Learn to work with Dates in Excel -
There are some problems in “Date Formats” sheet of workbook in which you are supposed to work with dates.
Table 1: Give reference of the date and display in MM-DD-YYYY format. Table 2: Give reference of the date and display in MM/DD/YY format. Table 3: Give reference of the date and display in Long Date format. Table 4: Give reference of the date and display in MMM-YY format. Table 5: Give reference of the date and display in YYYY-MM-DD format. Table 6: Give reference of the date and display in #YYYY$MM*DD format. Table 7: Extract month number from the date column. Table 8: Extract Day of the week (Sunday should be 1 and Sat should be 7). Table 9: ISO Week Number. Table 10: Year, Month and Day of the month are mentioned in 3 different columns. Using these values create date in the Date column. Table 11: Year, Month and Day of the month are mentioned in 3 different columns. Using these values create date in the Date column. Table 12: Fill the column with last of the month using Fill Handle. Table 13: Fill the column with last of the month using without using Fill Handle. Learn to work with Cell References in Excel-

Table 14: Write formula to Add 7 days in every date. Don’t use hard coded value. Table 15: Calculate price after 10% discount. Use cell reference for the formula. Table 16: Calculate Price after 10% discount and then add 12% of price after discount as VAT. Don’t use hard coded values in the formula. Table 17: Calculate price after 10%, 15% and 20%. Make sure that you write formula in such a way that if you copy paste the formula in other cell, it will give you right results. Table 18: Calculate price after 10%, 15% and 20%. Add 100 rupees as delivery charge as well. Use cell reference for the formula. Learn to work with Paste Special in Excel -
Paste as Value Only: Copy the values from Table 19 and paste it in Table 20. Make sure that format of Table 20 is intact and only values (not formula) are pasted in Table 20. Paste as Formula Only: Copy the formula of HRA, Other Allowance and Total salary from Table 21 and paste it in Table 22. Make sure that format of Table 22 is intact and only formula (not values) are pasted in Table 22. Paste as Formula Only: Copy the Format of Table 23 and paste it in Table 24. Make sure that values and formula of Table 24 are intact and only Format (not values and formula) are pasted in Table 24. Dataset -
