Onboarding

We’re excited to have you on board. Below, you’ll find all the essential links and training materials you’ll need to get started with reDot:

Slack Workplace

Our main channel is . This is where we send all announcements. If you wanna learn how to operate slack, please view this video:

reDot Task Calendar [only for internal volunteers]

Find all your tasks here with their deadlines and other instructions: . ​
Scroll down to the task table where assignments are listed. ⚡ Don’t skip the instructions at the top—read them first.
Then:
Find your assigned task.
Mark it as “In Progress” the moment you start.
You’ll also see the instructions there along with the team responsible for that task.

The reDot Portal

Enter your preferred teams and chosen campaigns. When you login in to the the app for the first time, it will tell you to input your choices. Do that wisely! You can only request changes after 10 days:)

Submit all your hours here after completing your tasks here: . Sign up with your google account or normal email/password.
Here’s a video of a volunteer submitting their hours. Notice how they properly describe how much time went into doing what.
After completing this process, your application is ‘pending’. The core team generally approves hours within 1-2 days! These are then used for LORs and VHCs 😄

What to do now?

Please head to and practice submitting your volunteer hours. For now, just submit your hours for completing your onboarding.

⚠️ Important: Input a time value of 0.5 hours. Submissions above that will be rejected unless you’ve been given explicit permission and submissions below that are not allowed.

You can now start working on your first task or wait for it to be assigned if it hasn’t been already.
Do not forget to join the Slack Workplace.
