How to make Money with Lovable

Monetize your AI Coding skills.
Everyone online talks how you can make the next billion dollar saas with lovable or any other ai coding tool and then proceed to show you how to make a to do list or a kanban board.
It's true there's a few people who managed to build and monetize a successful saas with these tools, but they're the exception. Everyone else is just posting on x or YouTube about what you “COULD” do with it, and not actually doing it.
That’s why I want to show you a few real world ways to actually make money with this stuff.

Signup for Lovable:

#1 Start an MVP Agency

You can make an agency helping people start their own startups.

Inspiration:

Why does this work?

Everyone has some saas idea they think will be the next big thing. Help them make it. Even if it's so easy now and AI can do 99% of the work, most non technical founders still don’t want to bother with it.
And a normal developer will cost them 20-40 grand to create an mvp, you can do in for 1-5K and jut 2 weeks. Its an obvious choice to hire you.
And the bonus is that by building these projects you can practice making apps and get paid to do it.

Where to get clients for your MVP Agency:

Anyone can tell you to start a MVP agency, go build a website, some socials, spend 2 months choosing your domain and pretend to get work done.
Don’t do this.
Your goal should be to get your first client ASAP.
I’ve included the top ways you can get clients for this right now that works even if you are a nobody in the middle of nowhere and don't know anyone.

1)

Job marketplaces like upwork are getting jobs listed from ready to buy clients who need an MVP built right now literally every 10 minutes.
How to win jobs:
99% of platforms like Upwork is filled with Indians and spammers just mass applying to jobs.
To win a job 80% of the time you have to 1. apply as quickly as possible and 2. In your application record a loom video talking to the client. Read out his job description, say how you would go about building it, how long it would take, you can even build an even more basic mvp or just a mermaid graph of how their project would look like.
This will make you instantly stand out and an obvious choice compared to the ai spammed applications the client got from everyone else.

With just 1 client you could be making 5k per month by next week if you can negotiate and sell yourself and your services well enough.

2) Fiverr

Fiverr is currently actively promoting all AI Gigs so its the perfect time to start making gigs about building MVP’s, prototypes and saas.
This would be harder and much slower than getting clients yourself but its good to just setup your profile and gigs and let them sit whilst you work on something else and hopefully a client finds your gig and orders by themselves.

3) Posting on X

Start posting on X about all the different things you’re building with AI to build up your reputation and then start offering MVP building services to other users.
You can start tracking keywords about people who are searching for developers so you can quickly find and dm them your offer.

4) Paid Ads

Paid advertising is very rarely talked about in the whole saas/indiehacker/developer bubble. I don’t know why that is but ads are single handedly the best and fastest way to validate any sort of idea. Just throw up a landing page with a quiz, book a call or if you're baller just straight to checkout.
Create ads that talk to your icp and spend 50-100 bucks on it and see what sort of response you get in less than 24 hours.
The same amount of work in manual posting and reaching out to people will take you literally weeks to do.
If you’ve never launched paid ads for your saas then book a call with me I'd love to consult help you out with it.

#2 Create Your Own Micro SaaS

Inspiration

($9k/month )

How to build it:

There is unlimited free tutorials on how to create your own micro saas on YouTube and you have AI in your back pocket. Literally just ask it “how would I build xyz, give me a project outline for xyz, give me the ideal prompts to create xyz etc..”
You have zero excuses to not have your next saas idea launched by tomorrow.

How to come up with SaaS ideas:

Look through other winning saas products on X.com, starterstory etc.. that you can copy. The market is big enough for multiple versions of the same tools to exist.
Find successful large companies like (ex. docusign, typeform) that are super expensive and clone 1 specific feature from them into its own micro saas that you can sell at a discount.
Give AI your lists of ideas/makers/niches and ask it to generate other similar ones.
You really don’t want to overcomplicate this, just find something good enough and start building it. With AI you can finish a basic mvp for your product in less than a day and bring it to market to start asking users for feedback.

How to make money with your Micro SaaS:

A good idea is half the battle. The other half is marketing.
Theres 2 main ways to get users for your saas:

#1 Posting Organically

This is the advice that everyone in the tech spaces preaches and its decent advice. Linking your saas in directories, Reddits, comments, writing articles about it, posting on social media etc..
Out of all of these the only good option is if your tool is a hyper specific solution to a people search for on google to do mass seo blog posting for long tail keywords around it to get first page ranking and start getting organic users.

#2 Paid Advertising

This one will not work if your micro saas is too basic. It needs to have some decent functionality behind it to make it worth while for people but the principle is still the same. Just instead of people searching for a solution to a problem you pay to show your ad to a bunch of people and say “Hey this problem you didn’t know you had has a solution now”
I’m not going to go over how to make and launch ads right now but if you want to leave a comment and i’ll make a full guide on it.

AI Summary of this Guide:

Loveable AI is transforming how developers create apps, games, and software with its powerful AI-driven features like code generation, real-time debugging, and intelligent suggestions. Yet, while many are busy building with Cursor AI, few are discussing how to turn these capabilities into a profitable venture.

Idea #1: Start an MVP Agency

An MVP (Minimum Viable Product) agency focuses on building early-stage software—typically SaaS products or apps—for startups and entrepreneurs. These MVPs are lean, functional versions of a product designed to test market viability. With Loveable AI, you can deliver these projects faster and more affordably than traditional methods, giving your agency a competitive edge.

Why Start an MVP Agency with Cursor AI?

Efficiency: Cursor AI’s tools drastically reduce development time.
Affordability: Faster builds allow you to offer competitive pricing or take on more projects.
Market Need: Entrepreneurs are always seeking quick, cost-effective ways to launch their ideas.

Inspiration from Real MVP Agencies

Here are some successful examples to spark your creativity:
: Earning $32,000/month ().
: Generating $6,300/month ().

How to Get Clients for Your MVP Agency

Forget wasting months on a fancy website or perfect branding—your priority is landing your first client as soon as possible. Below are five proven methods to find clients, even if you’re starting from scratch with no network or reputation.

1. Upwork: Tap Into Ready-to-Buy Clients

Why It Works: Upwork sees MVP-related job postings every few minutes from clients ready to hire.
How to Win Jobs:
Avoid generic proposals—most freelancers spam applications without customization.
Use Loveable AI to create a basic prototype (e.g., a simple dashboard) tailored to the client’s request.
Record a short Loom video showcasing your prototype and explain how you’d expand it into a full MVP.
Example: For a job requesting a task management tool, build a quick mockup with Loveable AI and include it in your pitch.
Result: This strategy can land you a job 9 out of 10 times. A single client could pay $5,000 or more, potentially earning you that by next week with strong negotiation.

2. Fiverr: Offer AI-Powered Gigs

Why It Works: Fiverr is boosting AI-related gigs, making it an ideal platform to promote MVP services.
How to Set Up:
Create gigs like “Build Your MVP with AI” or “SaaS Prototype in 72 Hours.”
Use keywords like “MVP,” “AI,” and “SaaS” for visibility.
Offer packages (e.g., $300 for a prototype, $1,000 for a basic MVP).
Tip: Set up your profile and gigs, then let them run passively while you pursue other methods—clients may come to you.

3. X (Twitter): Build Credibility and Pitch Directly

Why It Works: X is a hotspot for startup founders and developers discussing their projects.
How to Get Clients:
Post about your Cursor AI projects to establish expertise (e.g., “Built a task tracker in 2 hours with Cursor AI”).
Use tools like TweetDeck to monitor keywords like “need developer” or “MVP help.”
DM users with a friendly pitch (e.g., “Saw you need an MVP—I can build it fast with Cursor AI. Want to chat?”).
Example: Respond to a tweet like “Looking for a dev for my SaaS” with a quick offer highlighting your AI advantage.

4. Communities: Target Non-Tech Founders

Why It Works: Non-technical entrepreneurs often seek developers in online groups.
How to Find Clients:
Join Facebook groups (e.g., “SaaS Founders”) or subreddits (e.g., r/startups).
Look for posts about startup ideas or requests for developer help.
Engage first with value (e.g., “I’ve built MVPs like this with Cursor AI—happy to advise!”), then offer your services.
Tip: Build trust by contributing genuinely—avoid hard selling.

5. Paid Ads: Validate Demand Quickly

Why It Works: Ads cut through the noise, delivering fast feedback on your offer.
How to Run Them:
Build a simple landing page with an offer (e.g., “Get Your MVP Built in 7 Days”).
Spend $50–$100 on Facebook or Google Ads targeting “SaaS development” or “startup MVP.”
Test messaging like “AI-Powered MVPs Starting at $2,000.”
Advantage: Manual outreach takes weeks—ads give results in 24 hours.
Support: If ads are new to you, consider booking a consulting call with an expert (like me!) to optimize your campaign.

Idea #2: Create Your Own Micro SaaS

Rather than serving clients, why not build your own product? A micro SaaS is a small, niche software tool that solves a specific problem. With Cursor AI, you can develop and launch one in days, turning it into a steady income source or a valuable asset to sell.

Why Build a Micro SaaS with Cursor AI?

Rapid Development: Cursor AI’s code generation gets you to market fast.
Low Overhead: Automate coding tasks to keep costs minimal.
Revenue Potential: Micro SaaS products can earn thousands monthly or sell for six figures.

Inspiration from Real Micro SaaS Successes

These examples prove the profitability of simple ideas:
: Excel practice tool earning $6,000/month.
: Converts bank statements, making $12,000/month.
: Web-based solitaire game generating $15,000/month.

How to Build Your Micro SaaS

Follow these steps to go from idea to launch:
Find a Winning Idea:
Copy Proven Winners: Browse X or Starter Story for successful micro SaaS ideas. The market supports multiple versions of similar tools unless oversaturated.
Clone a Feature: Pick a feature from a pricey platform (e.g., DocuSign’s e-signature, Typeform’s survey tool) and make it a standalone, budget-friendly product.
Use AI: Ask Cursor AI, “Generate micro SaaS ideas for [niche]” or “Suggest tools based on [interest].”
Develop the MVP:
Prompt Cursor AI with something like, “Build a simple XYZ with user authentication,” and tweak the output.
Keep it basic—focus on the core feature.
Timeline: You can have a working MVP in under a day.
Launch and Validate:
Share your tool in free communities (e.g., Facebook groups, Reddit, Discord, X).
For quicker results, spend $50–$100 on paid ads to a landing page with a sign-up form or checkout.
Example: “Try My New Tool—Solve [Problem] in Minutes!”

How to Scale and Sell Your Micro SaaS

Grow Revenue: Use ads, content, or partnerships to reach $5,000–$10,000 monthly recurring revenue (MRR).
Sell It: List on platforms like Acquire.com—a $10,000 MRR SaaS can fetch $100,000–$200,000.
Tip: If ads are unfamiliar, book a consulting call with me to refine your strategy.
