Hi, all. My name is Mayank, and I’ve been a private tutor for the past 4, 4.5 years. I graduated from UCSD in 2007 with a couple bio degrees, planning on going into medicine. Kind of last minute, I decided to enter the business world instead and started an almost 10-year career in Business Management / Strategy Consulting. My last project was located in Boston, and that was where I started dabbling in tutoring on the side…

Fast forward a couple years, I started doing private tutoring full-time in the Bay Area in California, starting out with in-person tutoring and then making my way into online tutoring for students from all around the US.

I teach any and all subjects in Math & Science (effectively any STEM subject) starting from the Middle School level going up to advanced Graduate-School level courses.

If you are interested in learning more or want to read some of my reviews, please check out my tutoring profile on the tutoring platform Wyzant:
.

Just an FYI: most of my sessions will be in the evening to minimize conflicts, in addition to accommodating those who are located in timezones that are better served by later PDT times.

Hi guys! My name is Alan. After deferring my freshman year at the University of Rochester, I’ve been spending my gap year as a full time tutor for students struggling with distance learning. It has always been important to me to understand not only what methods to use when, but also how and why those methods works. Math isn’t really about numbers- it’s about reasoning! It is a tragedy for students who cannot afford a private tutor to be left out of the joy math can spark. After benefitting so much from Khan Academy my whole life, giving back on schoolhouse.world is the least I could do!
