The programme is for anyone with a working knowledge of finance and operations in start-ups and small businesses.
To get the most from the course you should already be familiar with the fundamentals of accounting, such as double entries and journals.
We must be convinced that you are able to commit sufficient time and energy to the course to make the most of the training and to be an active participant in group activities.
How much time do I need to commit each week?
To get the most out of the course you will need to commit to attending the live classes every Wednesday at 6.00pm - 7.30pm UK time.
Apart from the live sessions, we expect you to dedicate another two hours throughout the week to complete the assigned project and can be completed at the times that suit you best.
How is the course conducted?
The course is hosted via Zoom with live classes every Wednesday at 6.00pm - 7.30pm UK time
Can I do the course at my own pace?
Unfortunately not. As the course involves live sessions and group challenges it must be taken as part of a cohort. We believe that this cohort structure greatly outweighs the limitations: as in a real business environment you will learn to manage projects with colleagues and you will leave with a new peer network.
Who are the tutors?
All of our tutors are FinOps experts working in UK start-ups, and are graduates of earlier iterations of the same course.
We reserve a minimum of one place in each cohort as a free scholarship place. This is available to students who show outstanding promise but who would be unable to otherwise access the training.
