Hello, and thanks for showing an interest in the School of FinOps!

The School of FinOps pathway consists of the following three courses, each building on the other.

Intro to modern accounting

2. Becoming a FinOps expert

3. Automation and data analysis with SQL

Each course is 6 - 7 weeks long, with four cohorts running in a year, starting in January, March, May and September.

For each course, a weekly live class is held on Zoom from 6pm to 7:30pm UK time. Along with the teaching in the live class, you will work in groups on mini projects to familiarise yourselves with the concepts introduced. You will then be assigned homework that builds on the in-class mini project that you will complete in your own time.

Live virtual classes are supplemented with on-demand content that you can view and learn outside class time.

We also encourage you to book 1:1 office hours with your tutors and post questions on the learning platform if you have any questions.

Upcoming cohorts

The next cohort for the Becoming a FinOps expert course with remaining spaces starts on Wednesday 15th September 2021 and ends on Wednesday 27th October 2021.

There are currently 8 paid places and 1 scholarship place remaining.

The next cohort for the Automation with data analysis with SQL course with remaining spaces starts on Wednesday 10th November 2021 and ends on Wednesday 15th December 2021.

Pricing

Each course is priced at £750 + VAT. So far, almost all students have claimed the course cost as a training expense from their employer. Please let us know if you need any help explaining the benefits to whoever signs off your expenses!
