Making changes in a Doc can get confusing, especially if you don't know where to look for those changes! You can suggest edits so other team members know exactly what was changed, and where to find it. Others can approve, reject or easily ask a question about the changes made to keep your collaborative ecosystem.

Practice with suggest edits.

To put your learning to the test, follow the steps below. Once you’ve completed the tasks, you can check your work by expanding the example dropdown.

Highlight any text to see the format bar > hover over each icon to see what it does > click the suggest edits icon.
Confirm you are in “Suggest Edits” mode by looking for the green “suggesting edits” pill at the top.
Suggest an edit by deleting a word or typing a new word.
Exit suggest edits mode by clicking the green pill at the top.
Accept your change.
