During the peak of the COVID-19 pandemic, I had picked up Boxing/MMA as an exercising hobby since all gyms were closed. Fast forward 3 years and I have practiced it almost every week and have immersed myself into combat sports culture.
The summer before senior year, I had joined a boxing gym and had my first few intense sparring experiences. To which, I've realized my amateur boxing career had ended before it had ever begun.
I felt like a true Rocky Balboa - minus the epic theme music and the jacked-up physique. Either way, it was a cool and a humbling experience!

When I was 6, my parents made me learn to play the piano. However, after they noticed I wasn't practicing enough, they withdrew me from those lessons and put me into tennis classes instead.
From that point on, I have competed in USTA teams, individual open tournaments, as well as high school and collegiate club tennis.

Living in La Jolla (UCSD), one of the perks is being only a 10-minute drive from some of the most stunning beaches in Southern California!
Being in San Diego has helped me develop a newfound appreciation for sunset hikes and the peaceful sound of the ocean waves.
