Swap for Additional Vacation Days: Employees can choose to work on certain BC statutory holidays in exchange for an additional vacation day, which must be taken within the same calendar year.
Swap for Corresponding US Holidays: If a BC holiday coincides with a US holiday, employees may receive standard holiday pay. Employees may also opt to work on a BC holiday and receive holiday pay for a corresponding US holiday that results in an office closure.
Standard Statutory Pay: For employees who meet eligibility criteria, all BC statutory holidays are eligible for standard statutory holiday pay.
