When you onboard a new employee please follow this process:
Request a new zID: Before having your new employee work from UNSW campus, You will need to submit a request of a new zID for your new employee (your employee will be a UNSW contractor)
Their access will last for 12 months and they will need to be renewed every 12 months (an automated email will be sent to you 30 days before their contract expiry date )
UNSW ID Card Acquisition: Have your employee pick up their swipe access Gard from the Security Office at gate 2. Make sure they bring a valid ID with them for identification purposes.
Fill out additional information of your new employee in your company’s smart sheet
What building and lab access they will need
Will they need parking access
Completion date of their Moodle training
Which personnel in your company should be notified of their expiry contract date
