Market Context

Google Ads delivered measurable revenue but remains below break-even, highlighting clear opportunities for efficiency gains. Telford is a competitive Search market dominated by national brands. Our strategy is not to outspend them everywhere it’s to out-focus them where intent is highest and efficiency matters most.

Steps Taken

Adjust brand-campaigns will heavily favor the 0–1 mile radius
Tighten non-brand geo targeting to reduce low-efficiency outer zones to 3mile
Shifted budget toward highest-intent keywords (brand, near-brand, location-specific)

What Improves Now That Ecommerce Is Live

Ecommerce tracking is now fully implemented, allowing GA4 and Google Ads to work together more effectively.

What’s Changed

We’ve configured key events that directly align with real purchase behavior, including:

Why This Matters

Google Ads bidding now trains on actual revenue actions, not proxy signals
GA4 provides clear visibility into drop-off points in the rental funnel
Conversion value reporting becomes more accurate over time, improving ROAS optimization

Bottom line: Now that ecommerce is live, both GA4 and Google Ads can optimize toward real customer value, not just intent signals.
