Complete Pre-Entry system Q-Code Quarantine (Domain sometimes innecsible through CAD ip, sometimes needed VPN and connect to SK servers lol):

Purchase e-sim (Data+Voice) Phone Number required for Taxi App in case they call. QR code will come through email, save PDF offline on friends phone so you can scan when you arrive at SK:

Map App (Google Maps is 💩 in SK):

Naver Map - I found this the better of the 2 for live navigation for commuting on subway. UX is crisp, makes commuting fairly easy

Kakao Map - I found this good for searching for places in english and getting their Korean Address. More english friendly but Naver’s commuting nav is :chefs-kiss

Subway T-Money - Purchase a T-Money card any convenience store and you can load it with cash or card. Use card to tap for buses/trains. You can view balance by tapping it on your phone through using this app:

Where to stay in Busan: I would highly recommend Seomyeon neighbourhood because it’s full of cafes, restaurants and bars and it’s also the station where most of the subway lines connect, meaning it’s easy to get everywhere.

Take a 3-hour self-guided walk around Bukchon. Note that most attractions are closed Sundays. Rent hanbok to get into palaces for free.
