This interview simulates a collaborative design session similar to how we work day-to-day. You’ll be given an open-ended prompt (a day or two before the interview) around and asked to come in with an initial direction, then build on it together in real time. Expect to share your thinking, sketch or prototype ideas, and evolve the concept as we discuss. We’re less focused on polish and more interested in how you approach the problem, use AI in your process, and collaborate to shape a clear, compelling product direction.

How to prepare

Through the exercise, we hope to see:
How you frame the problem and identify user needs.
Creative solutions based in human-centered methodologies.
How you connect your designs with broader business goals.
How you communicate your process.
We recommend using tools that you are most comfortable leveraging (e.g. Figma).
