Based on the client's measurements and photos/videos, we whipped up a detailed measurement plan of the space to make sure everything aligns perfectly.
This is important because the measurement plan serves as the foundation of the entire project.
3.2 Development of the optimal layout solution
Basic set
Based on the questionnaire and the client's wishes, we're excited to present the first three layout options for the kitchen-living room. Each one offers a unique spin on furniture and equipment placement, so Mathilde can tell us what makes her go 'wow' (or 'meh'). Her feedback is our compass!

4. Project workflow (Additional Package)
4.1 3D-vizualisation
Additional package
3D visualization is essential in an interior design project because it allows you to see a realistic representation of the final space before any work begins. It helps you understand how different elements - like furniture, colors, and lighting - will come together, giving you a clear vision of the design. Additionally, 3D visuals make it easier to make decisions, communicate ideas, and ensure that the end result matches your expectations.
4.2 VR-tour
Additional package
A VR tour is an amazing form of visualization where you can not only see your future interior but also walk through it, helping you understand how the space will feel in reality.
4.3 Renovation drawings
Additional package
Drawings are essential in an interior design project because they provide a clear visual representation of the final design, ensuring that all elements fit perfectly.
For the contractors, the drawings act as a detailed instruction manual, guiding them on how to execute the design correctly. They ensure that every element is installed accurately, according to the planned layout and specifications, reducing the risk of mistakes.
4.3.1 Wall elevation drawing
A wall elevation drawing is a detailed view of your walls, showing their height and all finishing materials and details.
It helps you visualize how the walls will look with furniture, decor, and other elements, simplifying design planning and implementation.
This drawing also serves as a useful tool for builders to execute the project accurately.
4.3.2 Ceiling Plan
A ceiling plan is a detailed drawing that shows the layout and design of a ceiling, including the placement of ventilation grills, other structural elements, and ceiling finishes.
It provides a clear view of how the ceiling will look and function within the overall design of the space.
4.3.3 Flooring Plan
A flooring plan is a comprehensive drawing that outlines the design and layout of a floor, detailing the placement of structural elements and the types of flooring materials used.
It provides a clear understanding of how the floor will appear and function within the overall space.
4.3.4 Lighting Plan
A lighting plan is a detailed drawing that shows the layout and placement of lighting fixtures throughout a space.
It includes information on the types of fixtures, their positions, and how they will interact with the overall design, ensuring the space is both functional and aesthetically pleasing.
4.3.5 Lighting Control Plan
A lighting control plan is a detailed drawing that outlines how lighting systems will be managed within a space.
It includes the placement of switches, dimmers, sensors, and control panels, as well as how different zones of lighting will interact. This plan ensures that the lighting can be easily adjusted for different moods and functions, providing both convenience and energy efficiency.
4.3.6 An outlet placement plan
An outlet placement plan is a detailed drawing that shows the location and arrangement of electrical outlets throughout a space.
It includes information on the type and placement of outlets, ensuring they are conveniently positioned for all your electrical needs and seamlessly integrated into the overall design.
4.3.7 Electrical fixture specification
An electrical fixture specification is a document that describes the types and quantities of electrical components in a space.
This includes switches, outlets, faceplates, and other electrical elements.
5. Concluding remarks
The interior design project for Mathilde B.’s kitchen-living room in Salzburg was successfully completed, from initial measurements and layout development to 3D visualizations and VR tours. By incorporating the client’s feedback at every stage, we ensured the design met her expectations.
With the final layout approved, we prepared renovation drawings and a shopping list considering the budget and logistics. The 3D visualization and VR tour provided a realistic preview and confirmed the accuracy of our solutions.
We eagerly await photos of the completed project to see how our collaboration comes to life.

Block text: 2.1. The questionnaire
We will send you a link to fill out such a questionnaire after receiving the client's request on the website.
Measurements made by the hands of the customer
Block text: 2.3. Сlarification of the task
Clarification of the task refers to the process of obtaining additional details or specifications about the interior design project from the client. This step helps ensure a clear understanding of the client's needs, preferences, and expectations before proceeding with the design work.
The client specifies which package he needs, confirms the cost of the project and sends us several audio messages with answers to our questions
In some cases, the measurement plan may not match. This can happen due to measurement errors. In such cases, we will ask to check certain dimensions
The client provided us with these and other comments on the layout, as well as the dimensions of the library she decided to integrate into the project later.
After that, we created the final version of the layout, which fully satisfied the client. Based on this solution, we are further developing the project.
In some cases, when a space has a complex configuration, we create a 3D layout to more clearly demonstrate its functionality to the client and to ensure that the decisions made are correct.
Block text: 3.3 Creating stylistic interior concepts
Based on the style references provided by the client, we create two concept boards in the form of collages, where we propose color schemes for the space and select specific items of furniture, lighting, decor, and finishes to show the client how these elements work together
Block text: 3.4 Compiling a shopping list
Based on the concept approved by the client, a shopping list is created, taking into account the budget and logistics, so the client knows exactly where and at what cost they can purchase the items included in the project.
