First Week Checklist

Welcome to your first week! Complete all items by the end of training. Check off as you go — this helps us know you're ready to take on live work.

🔧 Tool Setup


[ ] Join Slack using invite link
[ ] Create or log in to WhatsApp
[ ] Set up a texting number (OpenPhone or Google Voice)
[ ] Create backup texting account (TextNow or TextFree)
[ ] Log into RingCentral (use shared login)
[ ] Log into Coda
[ ] Request access to Google Sheets
[ ] Create a Proton Mail account
[ ] Create a Trello account (if requested)

📘 Read & Review


[ ] Read the “Welcome Message from Rolston”
[ ] Read “What We Do (With Examples)”
[ ] Review the “Expectations & Work Culture” page
[ ] Skim through SOPs in the Coda doc
[ ] Review the “Tools You’ll Use” page
[ ] Read through “Sample Slack + CRM Workflows”

📞 Practice & Observe


[ ] Watch a VA accept a job from Homeaglow or Wayfair
[ ] Observe job tracking in Slack and CRM
[ ] Practice posting 1 ad to Craigslist (test post)
[ ] Practice adding a real job to the
[ ] Walk through sending a fake deposit/payment link (test only)

🎯 Real-World Task Challenge


[ ] Find a real job posting on Craigslist and share it with your lead
[ ] OR find a free item we can resell and share photo & location in Slack
[ ] OR create a test Facebook Marketplace listing to practice flipping
[ ] Briefly document what you learned from this challenge

📅 Meet Your Team


[ ] Introduce yourself in Slack #general
[ ] Attend a welcome call with Ivy (or another team lead)
[ ] Join a daily team check-in or sit in on a task review

📝 First Task Completion


[ ] Post an approved Craigslist ad
[ ] Accept or log 1 job from a platform
[ ] Tag exec team in Slack properly
[ ] Send 1 real deposit link (if assigned to job)
[ ] Help monitor a job from booking to completion with team support

🧠 Final Review


[ ] End-of-week check-in with Ivy or Rolston
[ ] Submit your onboarding feedback
[ ] Confirm your weekly schedule and availability
