🛠️ How to Post on Craigslist (VA Guide)
Purpose: To create effective, compliant ads that generate leads in specific service areas.
1. Go to Craigslist.org and select the correct city/region.
2. Enter the accurate ZIP CODE for the area BEFORE selecting a category.
3. Click “Create a Posting”
- Choose "Services Offered" > then "Household Services" or "Labor/Moving", or post in “GIGS OFFERED” for job postings.
4. Fill in Posting Title, Body, Zip, Price, and Email.
- Use templates from the Ad Template Table.
- Always include at least 1 relevant image.
5. Confirm and publish the ad.
- Open the confirmation email and activate the ad.
🧼 Best Practices:
- Rotate templates
- Use accurate zip codes
- Do not overpost
- Screenshot the live ad and upload to the Ad Log
