The university also plays role in ensuring a successful industrial training experience. Here are some of the responsibilities of the university:
Program Requirements:
Ensure that you have met all the necessary requirements to be eligible for industrial training.
Insurance Coverage:
Provide insurance coverage for the duration of your industrial training.
Academic Supervision:
Assign an Academic Supervisor to monitor your progress and provide support.
Conduct visits (subject to SOP) to check on your report progress and discuss your development with the Field Supervisor.
Coordination with Companies:
Maintain communication with the host companies to ensure alignment between academic and practical training.
Address any issues or concerns raised by the company or the student during the training period.
Assessment:
Evaluate your performance based on the Industry Training Report and feedback from the Field Supervisor.
Provide guidance on the preparation and submission of your Industry Training Report.
Professional Development:
Encourage you to take advantage of professional development opportunities offered by the university and the host company.
Support and Guidance:
Offer support and guidance throughout the training period to ensure a positive and productive experience.
