Raymond Cheng

Raymond was born and raised in Hong Kong and first came to Canada in the 1980’s as an international student. After a decade of working experience in both Asia and Canada for Engineering and IT industry, he pursued theological training and has since served faithfully in pastoral ministry for more than twenty-five years.
He continues to minister at East Toronto Community Baptist Church while stepping into a new calling as the Executive Director of the with the Evangelical Fellowship of Canada (EFC). In this role, Raymond seeks to mobilize churches across Canada to embrace a Kingdom‑shaped response to the growing diaspora community—promoting healing, restoration, and reconciliation, and equipping congregations to welcome newcomers from around the world with Christ‑centered hospitality.
鄭建文牧師於香港出生及成長，八十年代以國際留學生身份前往加拿大升學。在接受神學裝備之前，他曾於亞洲及多倫多從事工程及軟件開發工作近十年。其後蒙召投入全時間事奉，過去二十五年一直忠心牧養，曾開展英語事工、參與婚姻家庭事工，並與師母 Grace 一同帶領家庭更新協會的恩愛夫婦營，特別喜愛陪伴年青夫婦同行成長。
自 2005 年起，鄭牧師一直在多倫多東區華人浸信會牧養粵語會眾。過去兩年，他繼續以部分時間牧會之餘，亦承擔新的使命，目前出任加拿大福音信仰協聯（The Evangelical Fellowship of Canada）「教會迎新事工」（）執行主任 (Executive Director)。此事工旨在動員全國教會以神國視野回應日益增長的流散群體，在醫治、重整與復和上提供支持，並協助教會以基督的愛積極接待來自世界各地的新移民。
