Multifilter your table
I don’t know for you, but I love to display my data in coda using filters. For example, in my board game library, I like to display my game list according to their difficulty and loving scale, when I want to choose what to play to fit my friends level.
When I have multicritera filters with select control, this is very powerful :
Buying Date : - Difficulty: - Loving But a cool way to valorize this, is to use it as well when you need to add a row to your table !
Add row when filtered with pre-fill button options
When we have filtered our data, we may want to that fit the current filtering options. For example, I’d like to see all the “difficult” game bought in 2022, and add a new one to my library with the same parameters. I’ll just need to use the select control buying_date and difficulty
Do not forget to activate “Open Row For Editing” to finalize the creation
But you just earn some time (and money!) with pre-fill tables !
