There are more apps that one can test and try, but they mostly fall into several categories. Category should indicate what is the apps main strength and it's also usally its original focus.
Remember - most apps start focused at one specific thing, if they do it well - they grow, and then they try to expand into "everything store." Miro has started as digital whiteboard and now it wants to be a "digital HQ for your enterprise", same goes for Notion, Coda, and Airtable alike.
Which app is the right one for you really depends what you wanna do with it. You will love some, you will dislike some. It's fine. There's no right or wrong app. There are just apps that do what you need and don't get in your way, and then there's the rest. Chose from the former group. Ignore the hype.
I update this table irregularly. Whenever I do, I publish an update on socials and sometimes on the blog.
