Blue will always raise the HARD stats of the snail, regardless of form used."Green" will always raise Troop HARD Stats of that particular Form. The middle will always provide a special bonus and the last research item will Analyze the Ritual for the next Form Tier.

After unlocking Zombie Form, the Super Gene Expert will arrive in the mailbox to give you the parts necessary to unlock the Research Machine.
Research is divided according to the 6 alternate Forms.
As you raise each rank, you'll gain various boosts.
There are 8 relevant items in each Research Set, or Tier, abbreviated to T1, T2, T3, etc...
The numbered list on the picture is the order we will list in going forward, with 1 being Snail Stats and 2 being Troop Stats.
In this picture, blue is on the left side and the green (this color will change depending on Form) is on the right side.
This goes back and forth but their basic boosts stay the same.
Tiers
There are 6 tiers you can upgrade each form to.
After tier 2, you can start upgrading in stacks of 5 for each cell. In order to process, you need the top cell level to be higher than the lower cell.
On the T4, T5, T6, You have to complete rituals to fully unlock after researching it.
Every form has different requirements but mostly for T4 you need all four components.
Where to Upgrade
So before you get your rocket, you should maximize your blue researches to progress further to get the last part.
Afterwards on the progress to T5 on each form, the middle cell increases your leadership. THIS IS IMPORTANT!
The more minions you can summon, the more damage and survivability you can ensure on your rocket domain missions.
So on the 3-4d cooldown on your last part, go back and focus your research on those. Boost your minions while also boosting your hard stats.
