Mechanics
The Divine Altar is a key mechanic in Super Snails. Here you can offer souls, wish to the Divine Dragon, meet gods, and encounter a variety of strange characters.
Initially, there are 4 slots where you can offer 1 item in each slot. Each offering gives a certain percentage to a total of 100%, and once 100% is reached a god is summoned.
These rewards are listed below. Once the sword is pulled from the stone, 4 new slots are opened up at the altar for offerings although any 48h offerings cannot be placed here.
Offerings and Divine Chests
The types of offerings that can be made are souls, dragon orbs, mahakala offerings, and Gaia's organs.
Each item has a variety of effects. Most souls are offered to the Pantheon, though some unique items are offered to a specific entity.
Unique events and offerings are listed farther below.
Offering Speedup
Offering Speedup can be used to speedup the time of your offerings, either the soul currently being offered or everything being offered. Offering Speedup can be bought from:
Souls
There are 3 types of souls: Order, Neutral, and Chaos. Yellow souls correspond to Order, blue for Neutral, and red for Chaos.
There are over 300 different souls that can be acquired, each relating to a defeated enemy. Some are simple enemies encountered during explorations (such as the Cultist in ) while others can be more complicated such as Agents, Hitmen or invaders. Overall, each new soul type gives a bonus when offered for the first time. Gods of the Pantheon
Every time 100% is reached on the altar (besides Mahakala and the Divine Dragon), a god from the Pantheon will appear.
Most of the time, it'll be Earth's Will but there is a chance for it to be other gods. Mostly, this is up to chance. Once every god is unlocked, the entire Pantheon will appear.
Discount Dragon
The Discount Dragon will show up when you offer dragon orbs and one of offer two random wishes.
After 15 offerings this will increase to three random wishes.
These will show up in random order/determination and cannot be affected so make sure you know what you're picking!
Some wishes have a very low chance to appear and are beneficial, so be careful what you wish for.
Dragon Wishes
One time wishes (Rumors that some may repeat)
Relics and Gear
These items can only be obtained from the Dragon, and it is strongly recommended to get these items when they appear.
Repeatable wishes (Confirmed)
Divine Dragon
The Divine Dragon shows up every 5 dragon offerings and gives unique rewards and events. After 15 Dragon Orbs, there will be a change...
Unique Events and Offerings
There are unique offerings and events that can occur at the altar, listed below:
Unique Offerings
Unique Events
Here are unique events that happen at the altar.
Note that pulling the sword from the stone to summon Excalibra requires 10k of each AFFCT (roughly 1.5m power total) and opens up 4 new offering slots at the altar.
These new slots cannot take any 48h offerings like the dragon orb.
Also, there are rewards for before defeating Excalibra: Holy Sheath, Wood +5,000, Stone +5,000, 50k B-tads, 500 W-tads.
The Offering Weekly Event
Every week is one of three Weekly Events, one of which is Offering Week.
During this week, the more you offer, the more you get!
While the general structure of each Offering Event is the same, the rewards vary from week to week.
Specifically, different Event Souls and Relics can be obtained through Earth's Will and Crystal Boom.
Here is what you need to know to capitalize the most of the event.
The Offering Event
Hoarding time!
You will need to pay attention here because all of this goes directly towards the Offering Event held for one week!
You will need to hoard all your Offering Speedup, Dragon Orbs, Mahakala Offerings, and your best souls. Also make sure not to open any of your Dragon Chests and Divine Order, Neutral, and Chaos Chests. Keep as many as you can for the event For your daily tasks, offer the weakest of souls. Specifically, the 2% souls. You can buy these for super cheap from the Vending Machine and hoard all the best 80% souls for the right time. For VIP Card Users or Whalers
You will have just enough (or more) W-Tads to get 10h per day of offering speed ups from the vending machine two weeks before the event starts.
That is 140h you can have prepped up for the event. The cost will be about 12k wtads for those two weeks (600 per day).
Prepping
There is actually a cheeky way to get start and that is to offer either a Dragon Orb, Mahakala Offering or your best soul right before the first day begins.
So if it is less than 48 hours till the event, you can place a dragon orb and collect it that day.
Hours only count when you claim them! All souls can be offered in advance!
The Event Itself
Mystic Ritual (Spirit Crystals)
1h of Offering = 1 Point. There are 5 rounds and the more you offer, the more you get.
Here are the Rewards you get for each point.
Altar Miracles
During the event, a special event god might have a chance to descend to grant you various rewards. There will be three chances to meet this god during the event.
Here are the wishes:
Crystal Boom
Crystal Boom is a progressive reward system by using Spirit Crystals. The rewards go into 5 stages with each stage needed to be cleared first before entering the next one.
Every redemption also gives bonus Offering Speedups.
Any remaining crystals can be converted into b-tads after the event or redeemed for more items.
Here are the ways you can Acquire Spirit Crystals:
Here are the Stage Rewards and Requirements:
Vending Machine Pack
At the start of each day during the event you can pick up a 1 w-tad bonus pack in the vending machine which has 0.5h Offering Speed, 1 x Soul of Developer and 100 x Spirit Crystals
Event Packs
There are six total event packs you can redeem towards to getting more Spirit Crystals and Various Goodies
Calculations and Optimizations
Mystic Ritual
There are 5 rounds you can do for 240 points or hours each which is 10 days of offering per round.
Each round will give you 1100 Spirit Crystals which in total goes to 5500 Spirit Crystals.
Event Packs
You can score up to 26 packs for this event.
Now this is the whale approach but you those of you who are, here is what it leads to in total:
Which totals up to
Battle Tasks
You can do up to 25 Tasks for this event. Here is what you can get for completing them all.
This outputs to 3000 Spirit Crystals in total.
Summarizing
So in total you can get:
Now lets keep in mind the average F2P Player.
You will probably only be able to get all the battle tasks if you hoarded properly and 1-2 Round of the Ritual which will be 20 Days of hoarding speed ups
This will lead you to 5.2k Crystals AT MOST to use.
Now if you choose to spend, what is worth it?
As you can see from the chart above, the cheaper prices ACTUALLY give out the most crystals.
You can spend $5 for 109 or $10 x 2 for 336 for 445 Crystals. But here is the thing.
DO NOT SPEND EVENT PACKS STRICTLY FOR CRYSTALS
You might get to Stage 4 of the Crystal Boom but there only is a realistic chance if you buy $50 or more during the event.
Instead focus on getting those SWEET Relics.
Crystal Boom Cost Tier
In order to get to each stage, you must redeem one reward from each tier.
Here is the table for that.
We have an average of $0.074 per event pack so if we subtract The battle tasks first we only need 23k crystals.
Next we substract atleast 2 rounds of the crystal boom which gives up 20.8k crystals.
So we will need to spend $1556 to get tier 5 cleared…
If we substract from all rounds we get 17.5k crystals, which goes for $1309.
It is recommend to go for atleast tier 4 or cleaning tier 1,2,3
Spend wisely!!
