QA SOP: Building a hybrid listicle page
1. Visual & Content Integrity
Does the live copy perfectly match the finalized document?
Check that every headline and paragraph was pasted correctly without omission.
Are the fonts consistent and "editorial" in feel?
Ensure no default "placeholder" system fonts are visible.
Are all images crisp and high-definition?
If any look blurry, have they been re-exported at 4X size?
Does every single image have a benefit-driven caption?
Ensure no "Caption here" placeholders remain.
Is the page 100% free of typos?
Read through one last time to ensure professional credibility.
2. Mobile-First Experience
Can you understand the whole story just by scanning the headlines on your phone?
Headlines should do 10x the work of the body copy.
Are the CTA buttons large enough to tap easily with a thumb?
Check for fat-finger errors on small screens.
Is there enough "breathing room" (padding) around the text?
Ensure copy doesn't touch the screen edges on mobile.
3. Technical Performance
Does the page load in under 3 seconds?
Speed is critical for drop-off prevention from social ads.
Does the Sticky CTA appear exactly at 30% scroll depth?
Verify it triggers after the 3rd step on both mobile and desktop.
Do the FAQ accordions open and close smoothly?
Ensure no text is cut off when a question is expanded.
4. Conversion & Link Logic
Does every single button lead to the correct Product Page?
Click every link to verify the destination.
Does the confirmed coupon code actually work in the cart?
Perform a test purchase to verify the discount (e.g., 10% off) is applied.
Does the "Offer Section" copy match the actual cart discount?
Ensure you aren't promising 15% but only giving 10%.
5. Strategic Alignment
Does the page feel like an "Article" rather than a "Sales Pitch"?
If it feels too aggressive, tone down the CTA frequency.
Are the 7 points ranked in order of potency?
Ensure the most visceral fears (like the "squashing" effect) are handled first.
Want to print your doc?
This is not the way.
Try clicking the ··· in the right corner or using a keyboard shortcut (
Ctrl
P
) instead.
