The video would run up to 10 minutes and include three 30-second animated sequences. I was planning to budget $8K- $10K for the animation. I think you confirmed that this would work; let me know if you have any concerns as we will have to lock in the budget soon.

Macmillan videos estimate:

Original estimate is from email Potential project with textbook publisher back in March

Hey Chris,
Here's Chad's reply:
Thanks for reaching out to me on this potential project. Sounds really exciting and yes definitely something I'd be keen on.
Cost estimates:
R8,500 per video. Which would total R85,000 for the ten videos.
So R8,500 works out to USD450
Later estimate on the 25th of June
This is an estimate. Your time will continue to be paid hourly so if there are endless revisions, it’s covered. So this is a guide but we should aim to achieve this. Based on the rate of US$25/hour and assuming approximately 5 minutes of animated video: Estimated 5.6 hours work for 1 min of animated video = $140 Estimated 9.5 hours of revisions (per video) = $240 So for a 5 minute animated video (including the estimated revisions) this comes to Total = $140 * 5 + $240 = $940 (R16,915)
However, this was sent to Chad but it seems I forgot to send it to Chris.
