3. FAQs
Q: Why can’t you use the same type of glass as before?
A: Glass regulations in Australia change often and sometimes the type of glass previously used is no longer compliant. Our expert Glaziers always ensure that they glaze to the Australian Safety Standard (AS1288:2021) to maximise your safety.
Q: How long does glass replacement take?
A: It depends on the size of the door or window. On average a door will take about 60 minutes and an average, accessible aluminium window will take about 45 minutes. Our expert Glazier will need someone to be present during the job, as they normally glaze from inside the property.
Q: Can you repair chips or scratches in my glass?
A: Our expert Glaziers do not carry out chip repairs on domestic or commercial glass, nor do they offer scratch repair as buffing glass can distort it and make it hard to see through.
