Before You Get Started

A few things to consider before you begin your content creation journey

The 3 Key Ingredients

Companies are struggling to find the right balance in their social media strategy. The best strategy is to have one voice and message across all platforms. Social media companies like Facebook, LinkedIn, and Instagram reward consistency by having a clear style. To stay consistent not only with posting content but in providing value to your audience you need to mind these three aspects when creating content:

1. Know Yourself

2. Know Your Why

3. Know Your Audience

Know Yourself

Do you ever get a bit of anxiety from interviews or dinner parties? Especially, when it comes time to introduce yourself and speak to what is you do? Well I’m here to let you know that more than 90% of this anxiety comes from a lack of preparation. You don’t have a memorable narrative at your disposal that you can share with other’s at a moments notice. Instead you make it up as you go, forgetting crucial aspects and never keeping your story consistent as you move from conversation to conversation.
It’s important to know yourself and your story. If you don’t, how can you expect to tell the people interested in knowing about you and your brand.

Know your why

Your “why” is your super power. It’s what differentiates you from everyone else in your industry and those that have a similar product or offering. It’s your competitive advantage and what fuels you to keep going day-in and day-out.

Know your audience

Identifying your audience allows you to focus marketing efforts and dollars on the groups that are most likely to buy from you. That way, you are generating business and building community in an efficient, affordable manner.
