The reason we need this event announced will be in the last column titled “Why.” This column does not necessarily need to be shared with your churches, but should be reviewed to understand why certain events are on this list, even if they are not occurring for a while.

Suggested Announcements Script

Careers for Christ: For the annual NCC Career Development event, this year the program will be a series of virtual sessions that will take place each Tuesday in May. Please RSVP using the QR code on the announcement slide or email events@sdarmncc.org for more details.
Music Events: The second weekend of May will be a music filled weekend! First, at 6:30pm on Sabbath, May 9th, the NCC Orchestra will be holding a concert in the Moriah Heights Auditorium, titled “Adore Him.” Then [next slide] on Sunday, May 10th, you’ll have the opportunity to support music with the Mother’s Day Market happening in Argonaut Park in Rancho Cordova from 4:30 to 8:00 PM. The proceeds from this market will go towards music camp costs to bring the best teachers from around the world, and to make sure the participants have comfortable accommodations. If you are able to volunteer to help with the event on the day of, or contribute with baked goods or other items, please reach out to Nicole Fountain as soon as possible to coordinate.
Open Registrations: There are a few events happening this summer that you can register for! For all children, the registration for Vacation Bible School is open, and that will be taking place from June 15 to 20th. [next slide] Young Adults can register for the Yellowstone Youth Trip that will take place on 4th of July weekend, and only has limited space available. [next slide] Lastly, you can register for the Music Camp itself, which you should do so soon to make sure there is a spot for you! Music Camp registration closes on July 1st, after that if you’d like to register there will be late fees.
NCC Delegation Session: Lastly, for all church members, the NCC delegation is coming up in about 6 weeks. The report book will be sent out in a few weeks to all delegates, but if there is an issue you want addressed at the session, please let the delegates from our local church know!

Careers for Christ
The NCC’s Annual Career Development event is scheduled to take place in the month of May. This year, we will be spending each Tuesday evening focusing on a different professional field, with each session featuring members of our congregations with careers in each field. Each session speaker will share with us about their job, how their career developed to get there, and how they use their career for Christ.

Mother’s Day Market
Another fundraiser is on the calendar for the Summer Music Camp! Join us on Mother’s Day at Argonaut Park in Rancho Cordova for a Bake Sale and Market where all proceeds go towards the expenses related to teachers invited for the camp, and ensuring adequate accommodations for our participants!

ALSO ANNOUNCE: Volunteers are needed to run each booth and provide goods that can be “sold” for donations. Contact Nicole Fountain if you have something you can contribute with.

VBS 2026: Are We There Yet?
VBS Dates and Theme have been finalized! Save the date for a week dedicated to children, including a special Sabbath celebration at the end.
This year’s theme is “Are We There Yet? Road Trip to Heaven” and we will be focusing on taking the children through a journey leading them to our heavenly father!

Yellowstone Youth Trip (Limited Space Remaining)
All youth and young adults of the NCC are invited to join in this wonderful event! This will be a camping event so grab your tent and sleeping bag and join us!
