Selection Criteria

For each desired quality, we have a metric that we will be measuring during the application process.
All metrics should be potential based, not privilege-based. Ideally AI could learn to estimate the metric.
We should select a diverse set of individuals because we do not know which traits are most important.

We do not need to force them into working, they will be self driven to work on interesting problems.

To solve unsolved problems, you need to be creative. To solve problems in a new way, you need to be creative.

They are more likely to be successful when starting a company since they will have the stamina to persevere through difficulty problems. And have the ability to solve difficult problems.

Great founders recognize the power of people. They find ways to make all stakeholders better off. They attract talented individuals to their cause so that they can all build something better together.

People who work on more elaborate problems will have a better chance of creating a differentiated product. (We should accept some people with more attainable ambition though so the more likely they are to build a working product)

Embody Growth Mindset
They see every day as an opportunity grow and every experience as an opportunity to learn. They believe that they can influence the outcomes in their life and actively work to create outcomes that they desire.

Optimistic
Believing that things will work out puts you in the mindset to make decisions with that belief. Making decisions towards that belief make you more likely to make that belief come true. Plus, we want our experience to be enjoyable, pessimistic people are less enjoyable to be around.

Not an Asshole
