Trees vs Forests: Ontology and Taxonomy

I created this to help us try to reason about how to best curate the largest online art collection in the world when I was at Artsy. We were big into creating collections of things, but had no way to reason about any kind of general organizing principle and this led to a lot of discovery problems. This talk was about what I learned diving in to solve this.
