Projects

I’m Autistic and ADHD, so you know I have a whole swathe of half-finished projects abandoned behind me. Here are some of the ones that made it to some sort of deployment or another, or that I have at least not given up on — I’m pretty proud of each of these.

Notes
1
Autism Translated
This was my first attempt to create a home on the internet for neurodivergent content. I focused on “translating” the DSM criteria into relatable human experiences, and took some care to grow a community of people who were all interested in this space and who appreciated interacting kindly. As a result, AT is now a thriving subreddit with 14k users helping each other navigate this space.

Public Neurodiversity Support Center
@Public Neurodiversity Support Center
This is a digital garden built around neurodiversity. It contains essays with advice, terms, lived experiences and work towards a survey whose goal is to quantify the neurodivergent space by measuring dozens of different traits.
3
Media Tracking Project
This is an ongoing attempt to track what I consume. I’d like to maintain a healthy media diet and the first step there is making sure I know what I’m consuming — so I’m tracking not only what I watch/read/play but also who made it, what they look like and where they’re from.
4
VerbDB
This is intended as a new kind of database that treat state as a side effect of accumulated change.
