a few years ago after working through the first parts of my own Autism diagnosis. There weren’t enough places where people could gather to ask complex and difficult questions and hear good-faith responses. I was doing this work on twitter to some extent, but I wanted a permanent home for it and my first attempt at that was to put it on Reddit.
I’m not particularly active there, I migrated my work to the Public Neurodiversity Support Center — but it’s a thriving community of tens of thousands of people and growing, and it’s one of the kinder places on Reddit so I’m pretty proud of it.
