Use automation to trigger notification, to change the status.
Copy this document
Update bug status as closed [ Nooooo.... avoid updating from Master data, go to Interaction layer]
Look at the Reporter column of the corresponding bug. [ wait for few seconds ]
Build such automation triggers based on time-based or row changed.
