December 26th Sale + 2-Pack Listing Issues
Coupon Suppression Due to ASIN Change
On December 26th, Amazon suppressed the coupon for the 2-pack in Canada. Amazon changed the CA ASIN (B0B4FBN8CB) to the US ASIN (B0B4YQR4YS). The coupon was suppressed due to this ASIN change. A new coupon could not be created for the new ASIN as it lacked selling history in the Canadian market (an eligibility requirement for coupons). The listing images also changed, reflecting US images instead of the CA-specific ones. A case was opened with Amazon Support and forwarded to their specialist team. Amazon Support Response
ASIN B0B4FBN8CB was removed from the Amazon catalog. Amazon did not provide a reason for merging the old ASIN with the new one. The SKU for the old ASIN was attached to the new ASIN, and reviews and details were transferred. Continue selling with the new ASIN (SKU, FNSKU, and reviews remain unchanged). Delete the current ASIN, wait 24 hours, and re-list the old ASIN with the same SKU. Sale Price Implementation
Issue: Unable to create a coupon for the new 2-pack ASIN. Added a sale price on the backend, but it did not show a strikethrough. Created a % off promotion displayed on the product page. Search Suppression of the 2-Pack Listing
The listing was search suppressed, with no reason provided initially. We updated backend images, but suppression persisted. Contacted Amazon Support and submitted live images of the packaging to Amazon Support. We created a 20% off coupon for the 1-pack since the 2-pack listing was inaccessible. Resolution
Suppression was due to the main image displaying tablets alongside packaging. We updated the main image to exclude the tablets. Amazon removed the suppression on December 30th. We reinstated the 20% discount on the 2-pack listing after suppression was lifted. US Images Reflecting in CA
Additionally, we faced another challenge when Amazon reflected the US version of the listing on the Canadian marketplace. After multiple cases and calls with Amazon, we requested them to upload an image with Canada-specific language. They eventually approved the request, and now the 2-pack listing is active with the updated image.
