Finding the Values

Role-Playing Scenarios for Brand Value Discovery:

Here are some specific examples of "Role-Playing as the Brand" scenarios you can use to help founders discover their brand's core values:
Customer Interaction:
Scenario: A customer expresses dissatisfaction with a product or service. How does the brand handle the situation? Does it prioritize customer satisfaction, even at the expense of short-term profit (empathy, fairness)? Or does it focus on efficiency and policy adherence (integrity, accountability)?
Scenario: A customer has a question about the brand's social or environmental impact. How does the brand respond? Does it transparently share information (honesty, responsibility)? Or does it downplay its impact (sustainability, social good)?
Competitor Response:
Scenario: A competitor launches a similar product or service at a lower price. How does the brand react? Does it engage in aggressive price cuts (competitiveness, efficiency)? Or does it focus on highlighting its unique value proposition (innovation, quality)?
Scenario: A competitor makes negative allegations about the brand. How does the brand respond? Does it engage in public arguments (assertiveness, boldness)? Or does it take the high road and focus on its own strengths (integrity, respect)?
Ethical Dilemma:
Scenario: The brand has an opportunity to make a significant profit by using a questionable practice. Does the brand take advantage of the opportunity (growth, profitability)? Or does it reject it, even if it means sacrificing profit (ethics, sustainability)?
Scenario: The brand discovers that a supplier is using unfair labor practices. How does the brand address the issue? Does it prioritize its business relationship (efficiency, practicality)? Or does it stand up for ethical sourcing (social responsibility, fairness)?
