Work Experience

Fog Solutions

is on a mission to help companies harness the transformative power of Data & AI to create clarity, drive trust, and empower transformation. They focus on large and complex business applications in Finance, Insurance, and Healthcare. I joined to continue to grow and experiment with the evolving GenAI product development process and gain even more hands-on experience designing and building GenAI-powered applications at scale.
Principal AI Product Designer: March 2025-Present
Leading Adoption of GenAI Tools in Product Design: Introduced new work processes and tooling to improve the speed and efficiency of product development. This involved using GenAI coding tools like and, more recently, , to experiment with how these new tools can streamline, enhance, and alter the design-to-development process.
Design at Scale: The company experienced challenges maintaining a high level of UX/UI polish across multiple teams and projects. In order to solve this I introduced the use of ShadCN as a baseline design system to ensure all products were built to high standards and in a way that was easy for teams to build with regardless of the project. This required education and coaching on ShadCN and Tailwind best practices applied to Figma and has already resulted in multiple new projects that not only are delivered on time but have great visual design and smooth user experiences.
Website Redesign and Branding: As part of my early onboarding I convinced the executive team to allow me to not only lead the redesign the company’s website and elevate the brand but to deliver it with a small internal team versus hiring an independent agency to do the work. This resulted in an exciting new website launch on a modern tech stack using and Nextjs in May that was a 10x better reflection of the company's cutting-edge work and growing ambition.

Reputable Health

Reputable Health is an AI-powered research platform on a mission to redefine the future of wellness with a foundation of trust, transparency, and actionable insights. I joined for a short contract to help improve the company’s brand, website and app onboarding and tracking flow. I was able to do a lot of great work in a short period of time – setting the company on track for future success and scale.
Principal Product & Design Lead: Jan. 2025-Feb. 2025 (Contract)
Mobile App Redesign: Redesigned the onboarding flow and key interactions used to track participation in clinical trial studies.
Scalable Design System: introduced the use of ShadCN and a Figma Design System to speed up the design and development of new features allowing me to redesign the entire mobile app in less than a month.
GenAI Prototying: Restructured my design process to integrated GenAI coding tools like and to rapidly test and iterate on new products and features. It has changed my workflow dramatically and I continue to evolve my capabilities with these tools. Since these tools often leverage ShadCN by default and I have experience coding I was able to make very powerful and feature-rich applications that allowed the team to validate new ideas in days instead of weeks or months while keeping the development team focused on building the mission critical mobile app.
Website & Brand Redesign: Lead the redesigned the brand, positioning copy, and website in 7 days.
Aligned leadership team on the articulation of the brand and completely redesigned key pages for the company’s site to reflect the new direction and elevate the brand for prospective clients and trial participants.
Relaunched the website 7 days later which was used to update investors on the company’s new focus and approach.

Rangle.io

is an industry-leading front-end consultancy focused on designing and building digital customer experiences for global enterprises and fast-growing startups. I returned to Rangle in November 2021 as a Principal Digital Strategist to hone my skills in developing winning digital strategies for pre-sales and post-sales product development. I worked extensively on complex strategy development for large-scale Design Systems, Headless CMS and Commerce platforms, Digital Marketplace Development, and New Product Development.
In 2023, I was promoted to SVP of Product & Design to lead and grow a team of 5 product managers and 10 designers, with the goal of improving our product design and delivery practice. In this role I also promoted and managed a director level designer and product manager to help scale the team and provide growth paths for managers and individual contributors.
Another key aspect of this position was leading some of the more challenging client projects to ensure success which I’ve highlighted below.
SVP of Product & Design: Nov. 2023 - Jan. 2025
I have always pushed to experiment with new tools that help improve the design and development process. I was proud to lead the certification of Rangle as one of six official Figma Service Partners. This helped elevate Rangle’s status in the design community and brought in new leads for business development.
I created thought leadership pieces including:
Led the strategy, design, and development of a GenAI focused proof-of-concept for Nike called Nike Kit. The concept was centered on the idea that GenAI could be used to give highly personalized shopping experiences at scale and give every athlete the same level of support afforded to professional athletes, who have a full team of people managing their clothing, equipment, food, and training.
We were able to go from idea to client demo in less than a month

Principal, Digital Strategy: Nov. 2021 - Nov. 2023
I led the strategy, design, and development of a matching marketplace that simplifies the moving process for users while connecting them with trusted service providers. Our goal was to address the pain points that people typically face during a move—stress, complexity, and lack of trust and transparency. With a mobile-first approach, we ensured that the marketplace was accessible and easy to use, providing a frictionless experience that ultimately empowers people to move with confidence.
Over the first 30-days, the site had a conversion rate of 12%

worked with sales and marketing to create winning pitches and strategy for clients including winning deals for Storage Vault, Honda, Pvolve, and Abercrombie & Fitch and more. I’m comfortable working in multiple industries promoting modern product, design and development practices including, Headless Platforms (CMS and Commerce), Design Systems, and Online Marketplaces.
Mike's thought leadership on product and design cross-cuts user experience and interface with the software delivery process to achieve the best results. He was always able to communicate clearly and in an engaging manner whether presenting his concepts to high-level project stakeholders or simply having a one-on-one conversation. It would be a fantastic opportunity to work with him again. — Igor Kamenetsky, Group Technical Director Rangle

In 2023 THE LNK was able to raise a

My Pain Sensei

was a mobile chronic pain management app and program designed to help people suffering from chronic pain, make meaningful improvements in their quality of life.
