Creating a new Template from Scratch

Talk to yield team and give them the new template name (see Tanvir)

Template Renaming Convention for Templates

We will use [] square brackets to define it’s a template.
[Template]
Next will be defining if it’s a Flex Frame or a Flex XL and ad a colon after
[Template] Flex Frame:
[Template] Flex XL:
Name of the unit after the colon
[Template] Flex Frame: Custom
[Template] Flex XL: Custom
Adding the type of Device or Hybrid after within parenthesis
[Template] Flex Frame: Custom (Desktop)
[Template] Flex XL: Custom (Mobile)
Add a (Dev) if this unit is only for testing purposes
[Template] Flex Frame: Custom (Desktop) (Dev)
[Template] Flex XL: Custom (Mobile) (Dev)
If the unit runs on a different platform other than the NYTimes we will add a - and the name of the platform. Example - TA (The Athletic)
[Template] Flex Frame: Custom (Desktop) - TA
[Template] Flex XL: Custom (Mobile) (Dev) - TA

For the new FXT units we can follow up the same convention and just prepending the type of unit (storytelling, video, interactive, shopping) before the definition of being a Flex Frame or a Flex XL.
a. [Template] Storytelling Flex Frame: Messaging (Desktop)
b. [Template] Interactive Flex XL: Piano (Hybrid)

For Marketing templates we’re using [] and defining Marketing as template. We may consider to make the same convention as a regular template and after the Device add a - and Marketing or any other abbreviation (MRKT) to define it :
a. [Template] Flex XL: Window Shopper (Desktop) - Marketing

For other type of templates out of our flex-suite such as AudDevs or any other, we can keep the same as the standard utilizing the square brackets and then defining the name of unit or other characteristics that define the template itself.
a. [AudDev] Native Paid Post Ad Ed-pick (Desktop)
b. [Native Content Ad] More-in (Hybrid)
