Summary 🌔

We are looking for an intellectually curious, driven, and team-oriented intern to help shape our work on key MetaPals commercial and operational decisions that help drive our business forward for users.

About MetaPals = Web3 + Gaming + Tamogotchi 🐱

MetaPals are desktop companions that eat, sleep, and play. Through the utility of NFT’s, the developing GameFi business model, and the simplicity of a browser extension, we’re creating digital life that fosters a genuine sense of virtual companionship. All of this is packaged in a small digital pet that lives on your screen, that you will grow to love.

Metapals is much more than a browser extension. It is the first step to bringing life to the Metaverse. The Meta could easily be a very stale, boring, and dull place that is used for advertisements, work, and novel gimmicks. But it can be so much more, if we add compassion. I can't think of a better place to bring life to the meta than with mans best friend, a dog, or pet for that matter. Metapals gives a peek into how we can begin to live a life that is half reality, half in the meta. We then will slowly merge these two, to allow a truly immersive experience that makes a Metapal your companion to the metaverse.

Based in Singapore, we are a remote-friendly company with the possibility to work both off and on location.

What we’ll accomplish together 🙌

Analyse and summarise past and present gaming/crypto trends

Synthesise current forecasting methodologies and best practices across MetaPals team

Present key findings, insights and recommendations to cross-functional team members as a capstone project

Design, develop and maintain a business performance framework that will support the business cadence based on the relevant set of KPIs (weekly, monthly, quarterly)

Support market insights research and market data analysis to drive business cases recommendations

Support implementation and monitor impact on new data projects

Operations support and ad-hoc duties as required

A little about you 🦊

Ability to quickly understand business needs and translate those needs into a business solution

Advanced Analytical, Excel and SQL skills. Strong working knowledge in writing SQL queries preferred

Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, organize, analyze, and disseminate information with attention to detail and accuracy

Experience designing, developing and maintaining scalable & sustainable dashboards in data visualisation tools

Ability to handle multiple concurrent activities and projects

Able to persuade, negotiate and influence key stakeholders

You are adept at thinking and working in terms of “expected value” and probabilities, rather than black-and-white certainties

Have a passion for Gamefi, Web3 and working in start-ups

Position: Internship (8 hours per day)
