Summary 🌔

We are the look out for a kick-ass community professional with a passion for web3 and gaming to join our growth team to increase the awareness and grow the MetaPals community. We’re looking for an engaging communicator storyteller who can help us bring the MetaPals mission to life through content, copy and social.
This is a full-time position within our growth team focusing our community strategy, including running our engagement channels such as discord, telegram, reddit, Web (Blogs), newsletter and Video.

About MetaPals = Web3 + Gaming + Tamogotchi 🐱

MetaPals are desktop companions that eat, sleep, and play. Through the utility of NFT’s, the developing GameFi business model, and the simplicity of a browser extension, we’re creating digital life that fosters a genuine sense of virtual companionship. All of this is packaged in a small digital pet that lives on your screen, that you will grow to love.
Metapals is much more than a browser extension. It is the first step to bringing life to the Metaverse. The Meta could easily be a very stale, boring, and dull place that is used for advertisements, work, and novel gimmicks. But it can be so much more, if we add compassion. I can't think of a better place to bring life to the meta than with mans best friend, a dog, or pet for that matter. Metapals gives a peek into how we can begin to live a life that is half reality, half in the meta. We then will slowly merge these two, to allow a truly immersive experience that makes a Metapal your companion to the metaverse.
Based in Singapore, we are a remote-friendly company with the possibility to work both off and on location.

What we’ll accomplish together 🙌

Optimize our strategy to ensure our community continues to grow with attentive listening, engagement, and feedback sessions.
Liaise between our internal team and our community across social media, product, support and more across all relevant channels including, but not limited to Telegram, Discord, Reddit, Social Media, Web (Blogs) and Video.
Create, publish and manage content as needed across Telegram, Discord, Reddit, Web (Blog) and YouTube (video).
Support social media strategy - responding to comments and addressing fan inquiries and needs across all channels.
Support company with sentiment reporting, and support partner initiatives thoughtfully, diligently and strategically.

A little about you 🦊

You are available to work uncommon hours as needed to make sure we cover the needs of our Community including, but not limited to Asia and Europe.
You thrive under pressure from multiple angles, laugh a lot, and enjoy working with passionate people and you’re able to break down complex concepts into digestible, user-friendly ways.
You have a passion for community with previous experience and demonstrated ability to communicate to all levels within an organization.
Technical competency to interact with Product and Engineering as needed, with the ability to storytell and shape narratives for fan-facing experiences.
A culture raiser who thrives working in a fast-paced, results-oriented work environment undergoing hyper-growth with the ability to pivot with confidence.
Background with products that use high amounts of incentives, loyalty, and gamification – gaming / mobile gaming experience a plus.
