Guide on working together

Productivity

Meta: Consider forcing myself to put events in gcal, even if scheduled 1 min from now, and to think about the following questions. Maybe pay 10 USD to someone making me notice I haven’t done that. Maybe am allowed to not do that if and only if I set a timer for 5 minutes, and then stop talking or then really have to put event on gcal.
I like being asked before starting a conversation or container.
Ex.: “I would like to talk about X with you; I estimate it will take 1 hour. Are you interested?”
Ex.: “I would like to hangout with you for 2 hours. Are you interested?”
To support me, I like it when, especially during the day when I’m supposed to be working, that topics are not raised unless time sensitive and important. If time sensitive, but not important enough to distract me, then can just be dropped. If not time sensitive, then can be put on list of things to talk about, and schedule a meeting (at least if we don’t already have one scheduled).
Questions that help me be more productive during a conversation:
Is it time sensitive?
Is it important?
What’s the intended outcomes?
What are the points to be discussed?
What’s the time budget for each point?
Is there a faster way to address the immediate issue?
What level of details is desired to discuss a thing?
Is everyone currently in the discussion needed?
Things I like to be reminded of:
Put an interval timer to know how time is passing
Start my time tracker
Start audiorecording
When a alarm comes off, I like being asked:
Are we still talking about something time sensitive?
Is the time budget we set still make sense?
Is there a faster way to solve this?
Would it be better if I just thought about it on my own and come back later?
