Who’s on Team Marmalade?

Some personal tidbits about the co-founders who happen to be all technical:

Amy⁠

is our in-house machine learning guru. She’s recently found the courage to bike through New York City. When she’s not on a Citi Bike, she’s trying to catch something beautiful — whether it’s the Flatiron building during golden hour or a Yuja Wang concert. She graduated summa cum laude from Princeton University in 2017 with a degree in Economics, Computer Science, and Machine Learning.

Chris⁠

is our fearless CEO. You can find him tinkering with new produce and cooking techniques, and zooming around Brooklyn on his Vespa or road bike. He graduated from Princeton University in 2008 with a Bachelors in Computer Science.

Jimmy⁠

is a jack-of-all-trades who serves up distributed machine learning models, hammers out MVPs, and cares for his two true bosses in life 🐱🐈 — all in a day’s work. He schools us on any board game and with his ability to eat a small family’s worth of popcorn in one sitting. He graduated magna cum laude with a Bachelors in Computer Science and a Masters in Statistics from Harvard University in 2017.

Steve⁠

is king of our tech stack. There are few things he likes more than the nuances of Docker, but some of those things are hanging out with the McClain fam, whitewater rafting down the Colorado River, and becoming a New York state-certified mediator. He graduated from Lafayette College with a Bachelors in Math and Economics in 2012, and a Masters in Data Science from Columbia University in 2018.
