Workspaces
Workspaces in the CRM are what each family/participant (or account/account member) will be tied to in the Healthy Together system. CRM Users (WIC Staff) will be invited to a workspace so they can “view and do things” with the families and participants.
Workspaces can also have a parent/child relationship. CRM Users of a “parent” workspace would be able to “view and do things” in he parent workspace and it’s implied that whatever permissions they have on the parent workspace also apply to each of their descendant workspaces (not just their direct children, but all descendants).
Permissions
Permission Grants
These define what a CRM User can do within a given workspace. Here are the relevant permission grants we have based on the first deliverable (as defined):
CRM Users
Ability to view CRM Users of a Workspace
Ability to invite CRM Users to a Workspace
Ability to edit the CRM Users’ Permission Groups
Ability to remove CRM Users from a Workspace
Accounts
Ability to view Accounts (For COWIC, these would be families)
Account Members
Ability to view Account Members (For COWIC, these would be participants)
Future Permission Grants Examples
Here are some permission grants that will be relevant in the future when we deliver the features.

Ability to edit Cases
Ability to delete Cases

Permission Groups
Permission Groups belong to Workspaces. These can be set up however you want, and you can have as many different groups as you want. Permission Groups get assigned 1 or more Permission Grants. When a CRM user is invited to a Workspace, they are also assigned 1 or more Permission Groups for that Workspace. The Permission Groups that someone is given can be edited later through the CRM by anyone who has permission to edit CRM Users.
